How to Use Ivan Tabletop Lace Cutter

How to Use Ivan Tabletop Lace Cutter

Cutting leather laces or strips for braiding, lacing or fringes by hand maybe a time consuming task, especially when you need a larger amount to complete your project. There is a simple tool that can help you get through the material prep quickly. What our short video to see how easy it is to use our Tabletop Lace Cutter to cut multiple strips quickly. It only takes a few minutes!

The Lace Cutter can cut strips from 1/8" to 3" wide. Each cutter comes with sixteen 1/16" and seventeen 1/8" spacers in alternate black and white. You can cut any length of fringe, laces, belts or strap. Each spacer holds a blade. When blade becomes dull and not cut as sharply as before, simply reverse the blade and use the other cutting edge. We recommend using 3061-00 Replacement Blade for your Lace Cutter.
To set up your Tabletop Lace Cutter, you'll need a screwdriver. Pull down your leather for the blade to punch through. Once you are satisfied with your strip width and set up, place the hold down bar down and tighten the wingnut. Make sure your leather edge is straight against the left guard. This video will show you how to set up your lace cutter to get perfectly cut strips. Great addition to any leather workshop.
